Jacarta interSeptor v1.10 - Important Notes
This latest version of the Jacarta interSeptor firmware adds a host
of improvements to the browser interface and configuration of the interSeptor.
Please read the following notes before installing the firmware to learn
of how it may benefit you.
NOTE : When installing v1.10 of the firmware, please be sure to save
any required logs before starting the installation procedure. Once
the new firmware is installed, all log data should be cleared from
the interSeptor, as the upgrade procedure modifies all previous log
data.

The following new features are present in v1.10 :
- 1. Added support for negative temperature readings to -20 degrees
celsius.
- 2. Modified alarm and log messages of temperature / humidity events
with the current reading and threshold broken values.
- 3. Added support for SSL / SSH encryption (for secure HTTP transmissions).
- 4. Added support for temperature readings in fahrenheit as well as
celsius. Configurable via the console menu.
- 5. Added progress indicators for java log applets to show status
of refresh.
- 6. Added fahrenheit temperature support and event values to SNMP
objects.
- 7. Added support for mm/dd/yyyy date format which can be configured
from the console menu.
- 8. Removed the date / time setting from the console menu (this is
now set up through the browser).
- 9. Added the SSL / SSH setup page to the browser.
- 10. Added "Senders email address" to mail setup to allow
configuration of email from address.
- 11. Added space for up to 10 links. Also added the option to display
linked pages in frame or a new window.
- 12. Added the real time alarm icon to the top frame of the interface,
to indicate alarms.
- 13. Updated SNMP MIB.
