HOW DOES IT WORK?

interSeptor Pro2 is an IP device that sits on the network and monitors the attached sensors for unusual environmental conditions such as over-heating (due to air-conditioning failure), excess moisture, water leaks, and security breaches. The 2 supplied temperature/humidity probes connect via Cat5 cable into the RJ45 sensor ports. 2 x Go-Probe alarm sensors (security, water, etc.) can be connected to each temperature/humidity probe. This provides you with maximum cabling flexibility and helps to minimse cable runs. Additional sensors can also be used to detect fires, power failure, gas, etc. When an alarm occurs, interSeptor Pro2 can immediately send alerts via email and SNMP, and (optionally) SMS and telephone voice messages ensuring remedial action can be taken quickly so your vital IT infrastructure is protected. 

interSeptor Pro2's web interface means real-time status information and log files/graphs can be accessed quickly and easily via a web browser. The MIB file allows for integration into SNMP-based network management packages such as What'sUp Gold, HP OpenView and Solar Winds. Temperature and humidity alarm thresholds are user-configurable so they can be set to match your specific environment.
